The Wines of Tuck Beckstoffer

The Beckstoffer Family has played a pivotal role in the development of California Wines. From 1970 when Andy Beckstoffer, Tuck’s father joined Heublein through today, the Beckstoffer family became one of the most influential grape growers in northern California with a portfolio of 3,600 acres. Their focus has been the production and sale of the highest quality and most sought after grapes in northern California. Tuck Beckstoffer he wanted to expand into actual production of wine. Building on the extensive knowledge learned under his father’s stewardship he opened Tuck Beckstoffer Winery in 1997.

Today, 22 years later Village Wine is excited to host Scott Johnson, The Central Region Market Director for Tuck Beckstoffer wines. He will walk you through the vineyard and portfolio with a presentation and tasting. Wines to be sampled include Hogwash Rose, 75 Wine Company Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon, Melee Grenache, a hidden gem- The Sum, Bordeaux Blend- Mad Hatter, including the limited Semper Chardonnay and Pinot Noir and their 2 luxury wines, the 97 point Dancing Hares and The Amulet.  10 wines in all.

Rose, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay poured with Appetizers promptly at 6:00.

This tasting is a classroom style event. Tickets are $45 per person, which includes a $20 credit towards purchases of the wine on the evening of the event.
