Join us for Sunday Funday and the return of Haylee Lankster!
About the Artist
Haylee Lankster was born and raised in east central Illinois, has grown up around music her whole life, whether it be listening to her Grandpa Jeff play in his band, or her families friends in the music industry.
Her first concert she went to was a local artist and world renowned country singer Brett Eldredge, and with this so began her desire to write and play music. She joined the schools band class and quickly taught herself how to play the saxophone almost overnight. From there she taught herself chords and songs on her dads guitar, dabbled with the Ukulele, tickled the ivory, and even learned how to walk a few bass lines. She loves to sing at coffee shops, weddings, and just about any gathering.
It is clear her love for music and raw natural talent was turning heads. Then to top it off she has a super unique voice and an uncanny ability to write songs. With a little help from a local rising star and family friend Mitch Faulkner, she began to see her potential and gain a little stage time.
So when she’s not being your average teen, and hitting the books, she’s generally jamming in her room and writing songs. The future looks very bright for this young lady.
