Bring your sweet to the Loft at Village Wine for an amazing five-course meal paired with wine! On Friday February 14 OR Saturday February 15 at 6:30pm, we will have one seating each day for this amazing meal by Table for Twelve by Chef Thaddeus Bruno, paired with wines by sommelier Pete Beem and Village Wine.

Course One: Lobster Ravioli



House Made Ravioli Packed With Lobster & Smothered In A Lemon Butter
Chardonnay Sauce & Powdered Sage
Paired with 2023 Post & Beam Chardonnay, by Far Niente



Course Two: Duck Meatball



Maple Leaf Farms Ground Duck, Duck Bacon, Apricot Gouda & Spices All Rolled Into
Scrumptious Quackery Then Slow Cooked In A Duck Fat Pinot Noir Reduction

Paired with 2022 En Route Pinot Noir ‘Les Pommiers’, by Far Niente



Course Three: Soupe A Loignon



Maui Onions, Garlic, Rolled Butter, Cabernet, Gruyere & Swiss Cheese Spices 
Topped With Locally Made Sour Dough Bread Broiled To A Savory Comfort Food Delight

Paired with 2022 Post & Beam Cabernet Sauvignon, by Far Niente



Course Four: South Texas Antelope Backstrap



Broken Arrow Ranches Boneless Loin Lightly Sous Vide With Compound Butter Then 
Seared With A Touch Of Truffle Oil Served With Potato Pave & Roasted Red Pepper

Paired with 2021 Far Niente Cabernet Sauvignon



Course Five: Almond Cheesecake



Biscotti Crust, Mascarpone Cheese, Sliced Almonds & Secret Delights
Paired with 2019 Far Niente Dolce Dessert Wine

We will explore five of Far Niente's beautiful wineries through different styles of food and cooking styles, great company at one of Effingham's premier venues. Feel free to pop into the kitchen and chat with Chef Thaddeus about food passions then test Sommelier Pete Beem on his wine knowledge. This is an interactive event in true Table For Twelve fashion so please make new friends that will become old friends. We look forward to spending the evening with you.

This is a full dinner service and pairing. Tickets are $175 per person. Seating is very limited! Ticket fee does not include gratuity.

Single ticket purchases are allowed, you do not need to be part of a couple to be part of this amazing event! If you are buying multiple tickets for a group and want to sit together, please make a note at checkout.

Thaddeus is the Chef/Owner of Table For Twelve, going on year two bringing culinary experiences into the Effingham area's homes and business's one delicious bite at a time. Specializing in fresh and sustainaabale ingredients to create unique and memorable events.

About Sommelier Pete Beem

Pete Beem is a Level II Certified Sommelier with many years of experience in fine wine and fine dining. He is passionate about educating and entertaining guests, as well as the art of pairing wines with food to enhance the dining experience.
