Hess Select Treo Red Blend

2016, California

Sourced from select vineyards in Northern California, the grapes used in the Treo blend produces flavorful fruit with layers of agreeable acids and balanced tannins. The blend is ripe and bold, but not overly so. Purposefully softer tannins are meant for easy drinking pleasure right now.

Pair with grilled flank steak, salmon, mushrooms or a hamburger with blue cheese are my favorite pairings in the summer. Cured meats and aged cheeses like a Gouda or dry jack make a tasty meat and cheese platter.
