Cambria Julia's Vineyard Rosé
2018, Central Coast, California
Julia’s Vineyard, named for Julia Jackson in 1988, consists of ancient soils with fossilized seashells, shale, limestone, and sand, with fog-swept vines that have endured since the 1970s. This unique piece of land thrives in the cool, maritime influences that funnel in from the Pacific Ocean, allowing for a long, cool growing season.
This Rosé of Pinot Noir has pronounced aromas of white peach, strawberry, and citrus. The palate is medium-bodied, with balancing and refreshing acidity, leading to a finish that expresses watermelon and grapefruit. A summer favorite, perfect for brunch or a picnic.
Pair with cast iron barbecue shrimp.

JILL DELARIVA RUSSELL
Cambria Estate Winery
As head winemaker at Cambria Estate Winery, Jill DelaRiva Russell eagerly fills her days crafting premium wines from 100% estate-grown grapes from one of the most iconic vineyards in Santa Barbara Wine Country, located on the Tepusquet Bench, along the south-facing slopes of the Santa Maria Valley.
For over three decades, Cambria Estate Winery has proved to be a true family-owned and operated winery with over 200 years of experience cultivating this legendary stretch of land and crafting fine wines. Although Cambria is one of the largest producers within Santa Barbara County, Jill shares their philosophy, culture, and teamwork, which resembles that of a “boutique” winery, so full of passion and with ground-up decision-making. Owned by woman-owned Jackson Family Wines, the leadership team clearly cares about their people, the community and the land they produce world-class wines from. You can hear it in Jill’s voice and you can smell it and taste it in the glass.
