wine of the week
Thanksgiving Wines for the table
We’ve got two wines this week, one red, one white, both perfect for the Thanksgiving table!
Davis Bynum Pinot Noir
A great wine to introduce fall into your wine rotation! Consistently rated 90 and above by most of the rating systems, this year's release hasn't been rated yet but we're guessing it will be 92-93. Yeah it's that good!
Kith & Kin Chardonnay
In case you missed the Round Pond tasting, you can sample the Kith & Kin Chardonnay all week as Wine of the Week! This 92 Point Russian River Valley Chardonnay drinks well above its price point.
Ferrari-Carano Chardonnay
This wine is rich and round, opening with aromas of apricot, mango, Meyer lemon, vanilla, and toasted marshmallow. The palate shows incredible depth with a full mouthfeel and layers of flavor. Peach cobbler, citrus, orange blossom, and butterscotch finish with lingering notes of toasted hazelnut.
Martinelli Rosé of Pinot Noir
The Martinelli Rosé of Pinot Noir has aromas of rhubarb and strawberry with a touch of rosemary and a mineral characteristic.
St. Francis Merlot
Rarely, if ever, do you find a top quality merlot on the market for less than $20. Luckily, St. Francis exists!
Sonoma-Cutrer Russian River Ranches Chardonnay
The first week of our annual Celebrating Women Winemakers month starts out with a classic! Sonoma-Cutrer Russian River Ranches Chardonnay is a mainstay on many wine menus due to its fruit-forward flavors and minerality.
Seghesio Zinfandel
Plush in texture, this Zin is generous with blackberry and cherry flavors that draw in accents of briar patch, black pepper and toasty cinnamon as it finishes with zesty tannins. 92 points, Wine Spectator.
